Joe Blankenship is the Pastor at Springs of Grace Bible Church in Tulsa. Joe also serves as executive director of One Hope Ministry and President of One Hope Coaching. Joe has served as a pastor at Springs of Grace Tulsa since 2001 and before that pastored for 10 years at Grace Church of Collin County in Texas. He has been joyfully married to wife Rosa since 1983 and Joe and Rosa are blessed with 11 children, two son-in-laws and four grandchildren. All of Joe and Rosa’s children are heavily involved in the One Hope Ministry tutoring at risk students and leading sports clinics and other demonstrations of love in the Tulsa Urban Community. Joe holds degrees from The University of Tulsa (B.S.) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.D.I.V.).
Miriam Boone is the Program Director for One Hope where she’s helped develop and direct an after school and summer tutoring program and an urban ministry internship for college students. She received a BA in English and Bible from The Master’s College and completed the Christian Counseling Education Foundation’s Advanced Biblical Counseling program. She has an M.Litt from the University of St. Andrews in the Bible and the Contemporary World. Miriam and her husband Nate live in Tulsa, OK, with their three awesome kids.
e is on staff at One Hope where he provides leadership for the summer internship for college students. He holds a BA in Bible and a teaching credential and is Paramedic, R.N. He works part-time for EMSA as a paramedic, part-time for Hilcrest as a nurse, and is pursuing his Masters of Theology from Calvin Seminary.
Kevin M. Smith
Kevin Smith, a native of West Philadelphia, attended Penn State & graduated from Temple. He & Sandra have four daughters. He worked in psychiatric hospitals, interned at 10th Presbyterian, & studied at Westminster Seminary before moving to Washington DC, where he received a Masters in Theological Studies at Chesapeake Seminary. They planted a church in Bowie, MD, & pastored in Miami, FL. Now Kevin is the Senior Pastor at New City Fellowship in Chatanooga, Tennessee.
came to know Jesus as the teenage daughter of Caribbean immigrants, living in the inner city of Philadelphia. Sandra is the wife of Kevin, the senior pastor of New City Fellowship church in Chattanooga, TN. She and Kevin have been married for 31 years and they have been blessed with four amazing
daughters; Tesia, Bethany, Chara, and Joanna. The Smiths have served Christ together in ministry for 28 years within the PCA in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Miami, and currently in Chattanooga, TN. With a Master’s in Education, Sandra has been an educator for over 20 years. She uses that experience in her role as director of the GLAD after-school tutoring Program and summer camp housed at New City. Christ is precious to Sandra and her desire is to know Him more intimately and to be instrumental in making Christ known by others.
Dr. Barbara Sorrells is Executive Director of The Institute for Childhood Education and the author of the award-winning book, Reaching and Teaching Children Exposed to Trauma. She has worked in the field of early childhood education for over 40 years serving as a teacher, program director and university professor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood from the University of Maryland; a master’s in education from Southwestern Seminary and a doctorate in early childhood from Oklahoma State University. She travels extensively over the southwest region training parents, child welfare agencies, schools and childcare centers on the impact of trauma on healthy growth and development.
